Plugged In
We all serve a purpose in the Kingdom of God, but many of us don't step up and allow God to use us according to His plan.
As teenagers, it's easy to think that you will do your part once you are an adult, but God wants to use you even now, no matter what age you are. Are you ready to commit yourself to serving the Lord!

Key Verse
Acts 2:42-47 42 They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. 43 Everyone was filled with awe at the many wonders and signs performed by the apostles. 44 All the believers were together and had everything in common. 45 They sold property and possessions to give to anyone who had need. 46 Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, 47 praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.Core Beliefs Challenge Week 5
This weeks topics were Water Baptism, and The Baptism of the Holy Spirit. We believe in the necessity of water baptism by immersion in the name of the Eternal Godhead in order to fulfill the command of Christ. And We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in other tongues as an experience subsequent to salvation
Acts 8:14-17 When the apostles in Jerusalem heard that Samaria had accepted the word of God, they sent Peter and John to them. When they arrived, they prayed for them that they might receive the Holy Spirit, because the Holy Spirit had not yet come upon any of them; they had simply been baptized into the name of the Lord Jesus. Then Peter and John placed their hands on them, and they received the Holy Spirit.
Acts 10:44-46 While Peter was still speaking these words, the Holy Spirit came on all who heard the message. The circumcised believers who had come with Peter were astonished that the gift of the Holy Spirit had been poured out even on the Gentiles. For they heard them speaking in tongues and praising God.
Galatians 3:14-15 He redeemed us in order that the blessing given to Abraham might come to the Gentiles through Christ Jesus, so that by faith we might receive the promise of the Spirit.

Got Faith?
This week in Sunday School we asked the question, "If you took a test that showed how seriously you lived out your faith in Jesus, what grade do you think you would receive?" Each one of us answered that question, but then thought a little harder and answered it a little more honestly. It's easy to think you believe something, but on top of believing, we can back up what we believe with Biblical facts which helps us grow in our personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
But he said to them, “Unless I see the nail marks in his hands and put my finger where the nails were, and put my hand into his side, I will not believe.”
26 A week later his disciples were in the house again, and Thomas was with them. Though the doors were locked, Jesus came and stood among them and said, “Peace be with you!” 27 Then he said to Thomas, “Put your finger here; see my hands. Reach out your hand and put it into my side. Stop doubting and believe.”
28 Thomas said to him, “My Lord and my God!”
29 Then Jesus told him, “Because you have seen me, you have believed; blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.”
Romans 3:22 This righteousness is given through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe. There is no difference between Jew and Gentile,
Romans 10:17 Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word about Christ.
Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.
Hebrews 11:6 And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.

Hooked On Drugs
This week in Sunday School, we talked about drugs in school...who does them, and what they could be...drugs come in all different forms, even everyday items. We are responsible for the bodies that God gave us. Let's be good to ourselves and make the right choice:)
