Got Faith?

This week in Sunday School we asked the question, "If you took a test that showed how seriously you lived out your faith in Jesus, what grade do you think you would receive?" Each one of us answered that question, but then thought a little harder and answered it a little more honestly. It's easy to think you believe something, but on top of believing, we can back up what we believe with Biblical facts which helps us grow in our personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

John 20:24-29 ²⁴ Now Thomas (also known as Didymus), one of the Twelve, was not with the disciples when Jesus came. ²⁵ So the other disciples told him, “We have seen the Lord!”
But he said to them, “Unless I see the nail marks in his hands and put my finger where the nails were, and put my hand into his side, I will not believe.”
 ²⁶ A week later his disciples were in the house again, and Thomas was with them. Though the doors were locked, Jesus came and stood among them and said, “Peace be with you!” ²⁷ Then he said to Thomas, “Put your finger here; see my hands. Romans 3:22 This righteousness is given through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe. There is no difference between Jew and Gentile,

Romans 10:17 Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word about Christ.

Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.

Hebrews 11:6 And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.
